South Africa has a number of National Parks managed by the South African National Parks. Most well known is the Kruger National Park in the North East of the country

There a number of recommended routes that could be used by guests traveling to our lodge as part of a tour, and which give different experiences of the Province. All these 5 routes are using good quality tarred roads which can be driven in normal saloon cars.

This map shows the location of Mopane Bush Lodge and Mapesu Nature Reserve to the Mapungubwe National Park and the other attractions of the area. As can be seen there are many attractions within easy access of guests at Mopane Bush Lodge. The various bird hides and game hides in the area are not identified on this map.
